Over 200 different events, including free access to museums, art galleries, concerts and theatres are scheduled every year for the annual ‘Noche en Blanco’ (White Night).
There is always a special ambience around the city as many cultural institutions, normally shut in the evenings, open up their doors to the public and have large queues of people waiting outside.
For fans of live music, many open-air concerts take place in various spots, including in Plaza de la Constitución, in Plaza del Obispo and outside the side entrance of the cathedral.
The Auditorio Eduardo Ocón also becomes a hub of activity with competitions and music battles taking place there.
The Centre Pompidou and the CAC galleries are usually the busiest venues, while Muelle Uno, the University of Malaga’s ‘Rectorado’ building and the English Cemetery put on a series of activities for people of all ages.
With so much going on, pick up or download the schedule and select a few activities you wish to participate in. It will be impossible to do everything!
Noche en Blanco 2023 will take place on Saturday 20 May, from 7pm until 2am.
