Hamburguesería Mafalda
For a simple yet delicious meal in Pedregalejo, head to Mafalda, a modest hamburger restaurant located around halfway down the seafront.
The restaurant is self-service, so you must go up to look at the menu before ordering at the till. They’ll give you a number which they’ll call out for you to collect.
For a typical local option, try one of the camperos (a local-style sandwich crossed with a burger) which they say have remained unchanged since they opened in the mid-1980s!
Mafalda has all outdoor seating with views of the sea, perfect for lapping up the rays on a sunny day.
Vegetarian options are also available – and make sure to order fries separately if you’re very hungry.
