Feria Internacional de los Países – Fuengirola’s annual celebration of diversity

Fuengirola‘s reputation has soared in recent years, attracting individuals from all over the world to set up their new home from home.
Renowned for its unique blend of cultures, warm welcome and enviable lifestyle, the town shines as a beacon of diversity along the Costa del Sol.
An annual highlight is the Feria Internacional de los Países, until recently known as the Feria de los Pueblos, where each participating nation sets up its own caseta (or dedicated bar) to showcase its culinary delights, music and customs right in the heart of Fuengirola’s fairground (Recinto Ferial).
With events running daily from the early afternoon until the early hours of the morning, this fair offers visitors a vibrant immersion into global cultures, some of which may be very familiar (others less so!)
International culture, food and fiesta!
The Feria Internacional de los Países is one of the major events on the calendar in Malaga, especially for its ever-growing international community.
It’s a true celebration of diversity and pride in national identity, with each nation organising events to showcase its national customs.
This could take the form of a procession with participants wearing national dress, performances of traditional music, or simply providing the opportunity to enjoy typical food and drink from their country.
