Our dedicated team aims to give you the low-down on the must-dos in Malaga city, as well as guide you off the beaten track and show you the true gems it has to offer.

On this site, you’ll find everything you need to know about Malaga, from sightseeing and culture, to the best food and shopping spots.

If you’re intending on staying here for the long term, we’ll also help you to get to grips with Spanish culture and bureaucracy!

The Malaga Guru team

The Malaga Guru team is made up of a broad spectrum of people, from different ages and backgrounds.

We all, however, have one thing in common: a love for the city of Malaga, its culture and its people!

Meet the founder

A permanent Malaga resident since 2014, having first fallen in love with the city on his Erasmus year. After working for many years in local expat media, Daryl gained expert knowledge in life from the perspective of foreign residents and decided to co-found Malaga Guru in 2016.
